Waldorf Apple Salad

 2 Granny Smith organic apples, cut into bite sizes
 1 cup Celery
 1 cup Walnuts (unsalted), coarsely chopped
 1 Lemon juiced and zest
 ½ cup Full fat organic yogurt
 ½ tsp Cinnamon
 1 tbsp Raw honey

This recipe is an old family favorite. When my kids were young, I could easily get them and a host of their friends to gobble down this simple salad. Fresh familiar, wholesome ingredients is the secret.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, zest, yogurt, cinnamon, and raw honey. In a large salad bowl, gently toss the apples, celery, and walnuts with the dressing. Substitute full-fat yogurt for a lower-fat version if you like. Serve in a pretty serving dish or a lettuce leaf.
