Tasty Coconut Treats

Yields1 Serving

 1 cup Almond Flour
 1 cup Shredded coconut (no sugar added).
 ¼ cup Maple syrup plus 2 tbsp
 2 tsp Vanilla extract
 1 tbsp Moringa Powder
 2 tbsp Coconut oil
 ¼ cup Extra shredded coconut to roll balls in after shaping.

This treat is so delicious, healthy, and easy! I would like to thank my friend Joan Roberts for the recipe. She kindly shared them with me during a ladies event in her home. We cleared the entire plateful!

These treats have no sugar, only a little maple syrup which has benefit of
about 24 antioxidants. Hooray! Moringa is a beautiful green color plant powder which has 90 protective compounds, including isothiocyanates, flavonoids, and phenolic acids.

These yummy little round nuggets are all amazing for the human body in terms of fighting inflammation. Coconut oil and unsweetened coconut is widely know as a superfood. Almond flour is protein packed and delicious.

Try them with your kiddos. It's a treat they'll not turn down. They will never know that they've eaten something so wonderfully packed with nutrients unless you let them in on the secret.

Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Form the dough into balls using a 1 tbsp cookie scoop. Roll between your palms to shape, then roll immediately into the extra 1/4 cup shredded coconut. Store in the refrigerator or freeze to use at a later date. Enjoy! 😊
