In all reality, my family rarely eats bread anymore. But, this bread is protein rich and delicious. No yeast to rise - so the process is fast and easy. Around Thanksgiving I like to use this bread in my turkey dressing/stuffing. Yum!
Flax seed are an ancient seed. Fresh ground flax seeds are loaded with protein, nutrients and they are omega-3 rich. Omega 3 is needed for heart health and brain health. Herbs are powerful antioxidants.
Go ahead and enjoy this wonderful warm bread with a nice pat butter.
Directions:
Preheat oven at 350 degrees.
-Combine all dry ingredients.
-Create a well in the middle and add the wet ingredients.
-Mix gently but thoroughly.
-Spread the dough (about 1/2 inch thick) onto a cookie sheet that is covered with parchment paper.
-Form into a rectangle.
-Dust top with a little extra sea salt and extra herbs.
Bake for 20 minutes.
I use all organic ingredients whenever possible.
