Who doesn't like a brownie now and then? This is a delicious brownie bar made with maple syrup, not sugar. This is an easy, flourless, kid friendly, go-chocolate-wild dessert for any party. These are actually Keto and Paleo friendly.
Maple syrup is a source of manganese, a mineral that provides energy and antioxidants to the body and also boosts the immune system. It actually has fewer calories than other natural sweeteners. Coconut cream is packed with nutritional benefits and health-boosting perks. This lovely cream is Lauric acid rich. Lauric acid is a medium-chain fatty acid that can help promote weight loss and improve cognitive function. Dark chocolate is loaded with nutrients like iron, magnesium, copper, manganese and potassium. All of these can positively affect your health. So, for a brownie - why not indulge?
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
1. In a large mixing bowl whisk together the eggs, maple syrup, vanilla, and the coconut oil until very smooth.
2. Add in the coconut cream, blend it well.
3. Slowly blend in the cocoa powder until smooth. The batter should be thick.
4. Pour into a 9x13 pan.
5. Sprinkle on the chocolate shavings from the chocolate bar.
6. Bake for about 20-25 minutes (or until just set), remove from oven and cool completely on wire racks.
Store in the refrigerator or freezer for the best texture and flavor. Enjoy!
Note: A nice variation is using mini muffin liners. Fill 3/4 of the way up with batter and bake.
