Visiting my daughter-in-love, Rachel, she whipped up these nutritious delights in mere moments. Sweet, sticky, and so sumptuous, these might just become a family favorite overnight - that is - if you can keep them from being gobbled up!
Dates are packed with potassium, magnesium, and iron. They supply six essential B vitamins, including folate and pantothenic acid. Dates include polyphenols (a type of antioxidant) which protects powerfully against cellular damage.
Almonds are rich in healthy fat, protein and fiber. Nutrients are ample including key nutrients to heart health, including arginine, magnesium, copper, manganese, calcium and potassium and micro-nutrients.
I recommend Ceylon cinnamon because it is chalked full of many health benefits. Delicious.
Directions:
1. Place all the ingredients in a food processor, Vitamix, or blender.
2. Blend well.
3. Roll the date dough into 1 or 2 inch balls.
Enjoy.
