Crab Stuffed Salmon

Crab Stuffed Salmon
 8 oz lump crab meat
 ½ large onion, chopped
 2 tsp mayonnaise
 2 cloves fresh garlic minced
 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
 hymalayan salt and pepper to taste
 2 lbs wild caught salmon
 2 tsp fresh lemon zest
 2 tbsp butter
 hymalyan salt and pepper to taste
 toothpicks

This recipe is so delicious and easy. I always purchase wild-caught fish, I hope that you do likewise. Wild-caught fish are full of great nutrients due to the fact that their diet is wild. Please stay away from farmed fish. They are fed a toxic diet of GMO corn which means you will be eating the same.

If you are in a pinch for time, make sure you make up the crab mix ahead of time. You gotta love these make-ahead dinners. It's so simple, so fantastic, not to mention this recipe is Keto friendly.

Salmon is known as a delicious fatty fish. High in omega3 which is an essential fat our body needs. To get omega3 one must consume it, that is why it is essential. Salmon has EPA and DHA which are credited with decreasing inflammation, lowering blood pressure, and improving the function of the cells that line our arteries. Salmon meat is also a protein which builds muscle.

Directions:
Preheat oven at 400 degrees F.
-Mix up crab meat, onion, mayo, parsley, garlic, lemon juice. Mix well together and salt and pepper to taste.
-Layout the salmon on a large baking sheet.
-Arrange the crab mixture lengthwise down the middle of the salmon. Starting from the thinner edge of the filet, fold over the long way.
-Whisk together the melted butter and lemon zest.
-Brush the lemon butter over the top of the salmon.
-Sprinkle lightly with sea salt and black pepper.
-Use toothpicks to hold salmon together if necessary.
-Bake for about 20 minutes until fish flakes easily.
-Cut crosswise into individual servings.
