Chocolate Moringa Roons

Yields20 Servings
2 cups organic arrowroot powder or almond flour
2 ⅔ cups raw cocoa powder
 1 ¼ cups maple syrup
 2 ½ tbsp vanilla extract
 4 tbsp moringa powder
2 cups shredded and finely chopped, unsweetened coconut
 2 tbsp coconut oil
1

Who can't resist a decadent chocolate treat? This one is packed with healthy stuff but nobody will know! My family gobbles these down in mere moments.

Due to the cocoa these treats are rich in polyphenols. These treats are especially abundant in flavanols, which have strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Coconut meat is fiber rich and mineral rich. Moringa is very nutritious packed with antioxidants. Studies indicate that even the maple syrup is a decent source of antioxidants. These are compounds that act against free radicals in your body.

So go ahead, indulge!

Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
Mix well until it forms a dough.
Press into a tablespoon and roll into a ball.
Set onto a pretty plate.
Refrigerate.

These can be rolled in coconut flakes, chopped nuts, or more cocoa if you so desire.

Note: I use all organic ingredients whenever possible.

This sounds wonderful!! I was looking for recipes with moringa with a binder like arrowroot to help prevent a detox crisis. This recipe sounds better than all the others.
