Golden Frappuccino

 4 dates, chopped into small chunks
 1 tbsp fresh turmeric
 1 cup coconut milk
 ½ tsp ground cinnamon
 ½ tsp ground ginger
 1 ½ cups ice

Ooo, this no sugar drink is so refreshing! I first tasted this delicious drink during a warm summer afternoon. It was made for me and a few other friends by our girlfriend, Pam. It's so delicious. The drink is nutrient dense and filled with goodness.

Coconut milk contains medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), which researchers have linked with weight loss. Turmeric is an amazing spice. In this drink, it isn't overpowering. Curcumin is another name for Turmeric. It is known for fighting inflammation in the body. Dates are one of natures original sweet treats, high in disease fighting antioxidants and fiber. Ginger and cinnamon has also been linked to better blood sugar regulation. Enjoy!

Directions:

1. Add the dates, turmeric, coconut milk, cinnamon, and black pepper to a blender and blend on high speed until the dates and the turmeric are fully blended.
2. Add the ice to the blender and blend until icy & smooth. Top with cinnamon and enjoy!

Note: I use all organic ingredients whenever possible.
